Description:

  • Voltage detected from the pedal sensor is out of expected range

Possible Symptoms:

  • Reduced power output from engine, possibly in a limp mode

  • Possible hard to start

Possible Causes:

  • Loose or disconnected components of the throttle's electrical system

  • Damaged wiring or connectors associated with the throttle's electrical system

  • A malfunction within the throttle body

  • Faulty Throttle Position Sensor

  • Faulty Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor

  • Accelerator pedal or throttle position sensor that is out of alignment

  • Faulty powertrain control module

Possible Solutions:

  • Replacing the relay is a good idea at this point. If the fuel pump wont activate and deactivate, then remove the relay and visually check for discoloration due to heat or loose terminals

  • Inspects the quality of the fuel
