Description:

  • ECU (car computer) detects an issue in Power steering

Possible Symptoms:

  • Check Engine Light/MIL will be on

Possible Causes:

  • Defective power steering pressure or position switch

  • Corroded, open, or shorted wiring or connectors in the CAN Bus harness

  • A loose control module ground strap or broken ground wire

  • Defective CAN bus
