Check Engine Light illuminated
Poor engine performance or rough idling
Decreased fuel efficiency
Failed emissions test
Potential damage to the catalytic converter if left unresolved
Faulty downstream oxygen sensor (Bank 2 Sensor 2)
Open or short circuit in the sensor's heater circuit
Wiring or connector problems in the sensor's circuit
Faulty engine control module (ECM)
Heated Oxygen Sensor: This is one of the parts that fails very commonly. It measures the amount of oxygen to ensure proper combustion. Problems in the Oxygen Sensor lead to poor fuel economy
Test and replace the faulty downstream oxygen sensor (Bank 2 Sensor 2)
Inspect the wiring and connectors in the sensor's circuit for any damage or loose connections
Repair or replace any damaged wiring or connectors
Test and replace the engine control module (ECM) if necessary
