Description:

  • Problem in Charge air cooler temperature (CACT) sensor circuit

Possible Symptoms:

  • Drivability problems

  • The engine will be sluggish on acceleration.

Possible Causes:

  • A/C system low or over charged with refrigerant

  • Faulty A/C refrigerant pressure sensor

  • Cooling fans inoperative

  • A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor harness is open or shorted

  • A/C refrigerant pressure sensor circuit poor electrical connection

  • AC Temperature Sensor: Monitors refrigerant temperature. Problems lead to reduced or no AC cooling
