Check Engine Light (MIL) illuminated
Decreased engine performance or power
Engine misfires or rough idling
Increased fuel consumption
Potential exhaust system
related issues or abnormal exhaust noise
Faulty or malfunctioning exhaust valve control solenoid
Short circuit or open circuit in the solenoid wiring
Malfunctioning engine control module (ECM)
Poor electrical connections or wiring issues in the solenoid circuit
Excessive resistance in the solenoid circuit
Possible
Exhaust Valve: The exhaust gases after combustion are sent out of the engine through the exhaust valve. Problems lead to harmful emissions out of limit
Inspect and test the exhaust valve control solenoid for proper operation
Check the wiring and connections associated with the solenoid for any damage or loose connections
Test the solenoid circuit for short circuits, open circuits, or excessive resistance
If necessary, replace the faulty exhaust valve control solenoid
If the issue persists, further diagnosis of the ECM and related circuits may be required
