Check Engine Light (MIL) illuminated
Inaccurate or erratic intake air temperature readings
Engine performance issues, such as rough idling, hesitation, or poor acceleration
Decreased fuel efficiency
Potential drivability issues, including stalling or surging
Faulty or damaged intake air temperature sensor 2
Open or short circuit in the sensor wiring
Loose or corroded electrical connections
Faulty engine control module (ECM)
Possible
Intake Air Temperature Sensor: Intake Air Temperature Sensor measures the temperature of air at which it is taken into the engine. This car's malfunctioning sensor will lead to engine stalling, lack of power and engine noises
Inspect and replace the intake air temperature sensor 2 if found to be faulty or damaged
Check the sensor wiring for any open or short circuits and repair as necessary
Ensure that electrical connections related to the sensor are secure and free from corrosion
If other components or systems share the same power or ground circuits with the intake air temperature sensor 2, check them for issues as well
If the problem persists, consider testing and potentially replacing the engine control module (ECM)
