Description:

  • The fault code P0729 indicates that the transmission is operating in an improper gear ratio on the 6th gear. This may cause the engine to run poorly or not start at all.

Possible Symptoms:

  • Illuminated check engine light

  • Hesitation or jerking during acceleration

  • Inability to shift into or out of the 6th gear
