Description:

  • The fault code P0731 indicates that there is an issue with the first gear ratio. This may cause the transmission to shift poorly or not engage in first gear at all.

Possible Symptoms:

  • Transmission slipping or shifting poorly

  • Slow or delayed engagement in first gear

  • Harsh engagement or shifting in first gear

  • Illuminated check engine light
