Torque Converter Clutch: The torque converter allows shifting gears in an automatic transmission. It is the equivalent of a clutch in manual transmission system. The torque converter clutch creates a connection between the engine output and the transmission input. Problem leads to decreased fuel economy
Replace the torque converter clutch solenoid
Replace the torque converter clutch assembly
Repair or replace any damaged or frayed wiring in the circuit
Tighten or clean any loose or corroded electrical connections
Replace the transmission control module (TCM) if necessary
