Open or shorted wiring in the Shift Solenoid ‘B’ circuit
Corroded or loose electrical connections
Malfunctioning Transmission Control Module (TCM)
Transmission Shift Sensor: Gear Shift Sensor communicates the position the gear shifted to. Problems lead to difficulty in shifting gears
Replace the Shift Solenoid ‘B’
Check and repair any damaged wiring in the Shift Solenoid ‘B’ circuit
Tighten or clean any loose or corroded electrical connections
Replace the Transmission Control Module (TCM) if necessary
