Inspect the wiring and electrical connections in the MIL request circuit for any damage, loose connections, or corrosion. Repair or replace as necessary.
Check the fuses related to the MIL circuit and replace any blown fuses.
Test and replace the faulty transmission control module (TCM), if necessary.
Verify the functionality of the MIL bulb or LED. Replace if it is defective.
